***ALL PLAYERS WHO PLAN TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY AMERICAN LACROSSE ACADEMY INSTRUCTIONAL COURSES THIS YEAR MUST REGISTER FOR AND ATTEND A 55 MINUTE A.L.A.R.M INDEX SESSION SO THAT THEIR FUTURE INSTRUCTION CAN BE TIERED APPROPRIATELY***
A.L.A.R.M stands for American Lacrosse Academy Relative Measurement. This session consist of a 30-35 minute testing period and a 20-25 minute box lacrosse introduction session. The testing will consist of 9 separate test scores which create a single score that represents the lacrosse players current skill level and will allow us to offer instruction that will be designed to address specific skill deficiencies over the course of the year. Players may take the test at any time during the year, but we recommend waiting at least weeks between testing sessions. The overall player scores will then be divided into 3 different skill levels and all instruction and 3 v 3 play will be labeled by these classifications. This system will allow players of similar ability levels to play and practice together, while also allowing for players to advance as their skill sets change. Additionally, the ALARM Index will be administered to a group of HS ALL-Americans, Division 1 Players and MLL Players and each of our American Lacrosse Academy students can compare their ALARM score to these players to provide both motivation and recruiting insight.
Cost: $45
ADDITIONAL COURSE TIMES WILL BE POSTED ON WEBSITE:
